Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.

Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.

Den Leaders are the adults responsible for planning and implementation of den meetings and outings, tracking advancements of the boys within the den, and assisting the boy/parent team in achieving Scout rank requirements.

Highly motivated, well-trained Den Leaders are the key to a successful Scouting program.

To have a successful Cub Scout program, we encourage our parents to volunteer for committee positions. Some of the positions require only a few hours a season while others require many hours each month. If you are interested in any open positions, please contact the Committee Chair or the Cubmaster. Please keep in mind without the time put in by these positions, we cannot have a quality program for our scouts.
